ALL the members sincerely mourn on the sad demise of the major pillar and one of the respected Founder Member of IOPC Club,
Shri Samarendra Narayan Bose, widely known as "Feltuda " to all of us.
We all pray to Lord Almighty for keeping him in Peace and give all Consolation to his family and all us to bear this irreparable loss.
He will continue to live in our Hearts forever. |

THE ANNUAL SOCIAL FUNCTION - 2019 OF IOPC CLUB WAS HELD ON 20-01-2019 AND IT WAS A GRAND SUCCESS.
MEMBERS FROM ALL SECTIONS PARTICIPATED IN THE STAGE SHOW WITNESSED BY REVERRED GUESTS AND GUARDIANS AND OTHERS WHO ATTENDED THE FUNCTION ON THAT DAY.

IOPC celebrated their 88th Annual Social on 21st. & 22nd Jan 2017 with full grandeur. On the concluding day the club members staged a social drama with great enthusiasm. Thanks to all to mark the occasion.

IOPC has gathered another feather in the cap on 6th November 2016 by set opening the “Table Tennis” section along with all 7 sections already running very successfully, at the recently constructed 2nd floor hall for their members. The section will run by the expert coaches for free of cost specifically for the junior & sub-junior members. Senior members will also have the opportunity to practice their hands in the arena as well. The details regarding timings and subscriptions as laid down is shown in the activities page. |

IOPC celebrated the 87th Annual Social on 20th & 21st February 2016 at club ground wth great enthusiasm and success. The stallwarts of yesteryears
footballer Mr. Sandeep Munshi, Arjun awardee Mr. lakshmikanta Das & Arjuna Mr. Maloy Roy & Mr. Arun Das councilor of ward no.55 were present on stage for the occassion. Followed by Yoga,Karate, Body Building stage show performed by chidlren, ladies & gents members of the club.
Next day MR. Swarnakamal Saha , M.L.A, ,Mrs.Dipali Das & Mr. Gopal Chanda Saha councilor of ward No.56 & 46 respectively, Mr. Atanu Tarafder,OC, Entally P.S. were feliciteted on stage after the inaugaration programme of recently constructed 2nd floor of the club house by Mr.Swarnakamal saha.
On the concluding day a One Act drama was staged by club members, received high appreciation , followed by a musical performance by renouned singer " ANKAN " (Debashish Bhadra).

1. Annual General Meeting of IOPC held on 30th August 2015 at club premises at 10:30am. New Executive committee has been formed for the financial year 2015-16. The new executive committee members are as shown in our Web Page. The former Secretary Mr. Ajay Pal addressed all members’ present and paid respect to the well wishers and members departed, he also welcomed & congratulated the new committee members. The new secretary Mr. Sandip Basu taken over the baton. In his welcome speech he talked about the achievements of the past committees, which created a tradition in Body Building and Good Health, related activities throughout the ages. He also remembered and paid respect to the formers.
2. On 30th August 2015 the club organized an Interactive session and Seminar headed by our respected guardian Dr. Indranil Dhar with the parents of the child members and others present about “Child Health and Nutrition” with great enthusiasm.
3. On 5th Sept 2015 a day long programme held in the IOPC Club House, one “Free Eye Check up Camp” for the under privileged, in co-ordination with “Nawamita” a registered NGO. Also our well-wisher renowned optician “Dr. Satyandra Nath Roy” was also present to give his expert advices and treatments to the people gathered. The patients were delivered with “spectacles” free of cost on the part of the NGO in collaboration with M/S GKB Opticals as a CSR initiative. |
